BWFA achieves record amounts in edition 2020

It has been a busy week for our BWFA team. Our auction was normally held at Sea Coast Stables but due to Covid-19 we had to cancel this and provide alternatives. Nevertheless, everything went very well and new record amounts were recorded in the history of BWFA.

The top seller was the 6-year-old Oliva Odeveld. A great chestnut mare out of Cicero Z Van Paemel x Lord Z. This fantastic showjumping horse gave us high expectations and they came true. Oliva Odeveld was sold to Germany for € 118,000.00.

The foals' star was Con Gusto JT Z (photo), this beautiful colt from Chacco-Blue and the full sister of Hardrock Z was sold for € 71,000.00 to South Africa. The most expensive foal ever in BWFA history.

With a total turnover of € 575,000 which equates to an average price of € 23,000.00 per lot, we can call this edition very successful.

Thanks to the online platform, biddings were made from all over the world, so some of our horses will also travel around the world. The five-year-old gelding Favorit II was sold to Norway for an amount of € 44,000.00. The mare P Wild thing and the filly Boerenverstand vd Gangerhoeve (Balou du Reventon) have been sold to Bahrain for € 22,000,000 and € 16,000.00 respectively. The gelding Casey De Will by Casall ASK has been sold to Mexico for € 46,000.00. The colt Charmer De Muze (Casall ASK) has been sold to Sweden for € 19,000.00. Other horses were sold to The Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, UK and Hongary.

Our BWFA team can look back on a special but certainly successful edition. "We are sure that we will hear a lot more about the horses we auctioned today."
